New design software that can easily create accessible content (i.e. PDFs) is now available at no charge to UConn and UConn Health employees, including student workers. ITS has purchased an enterprise-license for Venngage, a platform for creating professional visuals that includes built-in accessibility features.
Venngage, like Canva and Adobe Express, offers a drag-and-drop interface, large template library, and brand kit features. Venngage is optimized for infographics, timelines, and structured business visuals and offers AI-powered design suggestions. It also includes built-in accessibility tools, such as color contrast checking, accessibility validation features, and accessible templates to help users create accessible content from the start.

Who Is Eligible?
Venngage is available to:
- UConn employees
- UConn Health employees
- Student workers with a student worker NetID*
*Student workers must create their account using their student worker account, not their personal student account.
Cost: There is no cost to departments, colleges, schools, or units. ITS has purchased a university-wide license.
Getting Started
- Review eligibility information in the UConn Software Catalog.
- Create a Venngage account using your UConn email address.
- Student workers must register using their student worker account.
