Accessibility is our communal responsibility. Because our digital content reaches far beyond our campuses, it is vital for us to understand and implement accessibility principles in every aspect of digital communication, including contracted products and services.

Requesters are responsible for ensuring that third-party content providers are aware of UConn's commitment to accessibility, as is described in the ICT Accessibility Policy.

If a vendor is unable to comply with the Policy, alternative vendors who can comply with the Policy should be sought. Please keep this in mind when holding initial conversations with vendors and when developing projects with vendors.  If an exception needs to be made, please follow the Equally Effective Alternative Access Plan (EEAAP) instructions.
