Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Accessibility Policy

The Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Accessibility Policy provides an update to the former Universal Website Accessibility Policy.

To demonstrate UConn’s commitment to providing an accessible digital environment, a committee composed of members including ITS, the Center for Students with Disabilities, the Office for Institutional Equity, the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, University Communications, and more, spent the past year updating the policy, which goes into effect on July 24th, 2019.

The policy extends to the procurement, development, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the University’s information and communication technologies at Storrs and Regional Campuses.  It is the responsibility of all University administrators, faculty, staff, students and those who maintain externally facing University websites to provide an accessible information, communication, content, and technology experience for people with disabilities.  Read the policy here.
